An 80% Commercial Employee
Founded in 1946, the Youth Centre Association offers, alone or in collaboration, various educational, residential and non-residential support programmes aimed at children, adolescents and teenagers distributed throughout the canton of Vaud. The Association's mission is to welcome, supervise and support these young people in their difficulties, so that they gain autonomy.
• You are:
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or considered equivalent
- Equipped with at least 5 years’ experience in a secretarial or general administrative department.
- Possessing excellent writing skills and impeccable spelling (French).
- Fully comfortable with IT tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Recognised for your ability to create neat and attractive layouts.
- Autonomous and rigorous in your work, you know how to take initiatives and manage priorities.
- Naturally welcoming, available, calm and able to demonstrate discretion and stress resistance.
- Sensitive to our mission in support of youth in difficulty.
- Due to our work with minors, your criminal record must be clean.
• Working at the Youth Centre as a commercial employee means, among other things… :
- Actively collaborating with the deputy directors and the administrative team in implementing various projects (participation in the preparation of documents, administrative processes or event organisation, etc.);
- Participating in various administrative tasks related to the secretariat, accounting service and general administration of the Youth Centre;
- Keeping various databases and statistics up to date;
- Creating or laying out flyers and various internal and external support or documents;
- Writing minutes of certain meetings;
- Managing the cash register and keeping the cash journal;
- Participating in the training of apprentice commercial employees;
- Managing general reception and secretarial tasks;
- Providing quality telephone and physical reception to visitors and collaborators.
