About the job

Your Tasks

• You take responsibility in demanding projects and maintain direct contact with our customers
• You configure complex control systems
• You specify project-related software modules and act as the interface to the development team
• You create execution specifications based on customer requirements
• You commission your system on the motorway or in the tunnel
• You build application virtualisation environments (based on Docker and Kubernetes)
• You use our CI/CD platform (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, SVN, GitLab, Ansible) and continuously help optimise it
• You assist in testing and integrating our products
• You share responsibility for the operation and expansion of our infrastructure as well as for evaluating new tools for continuous process optimisation

Your Skills and Talents

• You have a basic education as an IT specialist or automation technician (further education HF/FH advantageous)
• Experience in control technology as well as in application and system configuration is a plus
• Windows, Linux, virtualised systems and TCP/IP networks are familiar to you
• Good knowledge of our build tools (Jenkins, Maven) as well as SVN, GitLab and Bitbucket and the microservice platforms Docker and Kubernetes is desired
• You are an open, innovative personality with perseverance and have a sense of quality and humour
• You are interested in innovative solutions and think outside the box
• You have good German and English skills
