About the job
Teufen is an attractive municipality in the Appenzell midlands with around 6,200 inhabitants and borders directly on the city of St. Gallen. The Teufen school is a lively and versatile place of learning and has a long-standing, successful practice with the integrative school form. In the Landhaus school district, we have been running a forest kindergarten for 9 years. It is available to all children from the entire community. The forest kindergarten of the Teufen school is run according to the curriculum of the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden.

To strengthen the class team, we are looking for a nature-experienced teacher who will lead the forest class in job sharing with the job partner.
Your profile
You bring enthusiasm and experience for versatile teaching in the forest and are motivated to meet the diversity of children in our integrative school holistically, creatively, and respectfully. Committed and reliable collaboration with the job sharing partner and other professionals is important to you. You look forward to exchanging ideas within the grade team and are interested in actively shaping our school. You have a recognized qualification as a kindergarten teacher with additional training in forest pedagogy.

Your workplace is a forest area with various stimulating ecosystems and diverse flora. In addition, we have a kindergarten room in the village center where the class meets and which is used as a base for special indoor projects.
