Responsibilities
- You lead infrastructure projects such as renewals of process engineering plants in the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) sector, the construction of a new logistics hub, or renovations / conversions of building infrastructure.
- You coordinate interdisciplinary project teams, external planning offices, executing construction companies, and the operations team.
- You manage projects proactively with additional attention to regulatory requirements, risks, contracts, and operational conditions.
- You are responsible for creating concepts, decision-making bases, and specifications as well as tenders and awards of planning and construction services according to public procurement guidelines.
- You ensure compliance with legal regulations, quality requirements, and common safety standards.
Profile
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, architecture, or a similar field
- At least 5 years of experience in managing large or infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to the public sector
- Sound knowledge of project management and ideally construction and procurement law
- Experience working with planning offices, general planners, and suppliers
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and diplomatic tact in dealing with various stakeholders
