Your Tasks
- Active participation in IT projects in the areas of infrastructure, process optimisation and IT security, and gradual assumption of responsibility for smaller IT projects or subprojects
- Management, tracking and evaluation of support requests as well as system developments and close cooperation with external IT partners
- Ensuring smooth IT operations through technical support and assistance to end users via various channels (telephone, e-mail and ticket system)
- Planning, installation, provision and maintenance of hardware and software around IT structures (office infrastructure as well as workstations including peripherals)
- Maintenance and further development of internal systems and applications including user and permission management (Active Directory, M365, internal portals)
- Central contact person for fault reports and problems in hardware and software areas
- Conducting functional tests and quality assurance of new application functions
- Further development and maintenance of IT documentation, user manuals and the internal knowledge database
Our Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or an equivalent qualification with further training in the IT field as well as several years of experience in 1st and 2nd level support
- Solid knowledge in:
- Windows client and server systems, Microsoft Office / M365
- Active Directory, group and permission management
- Network technology (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Microsoft Exchange - Basic knowledge in IT security (access rights, endpoint protection, awareness)
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure, O365 admin) is an advantage
- Knowledge in IT service management (ITIL, incident, problem, change management)
- Quick comprehension and a structured as well as networked way of thinking with an eye for the big picture
- Independent, solution- and goal-oriented working as well as a strong implementation personality with high service and responsibility orientation
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
- Language skills: fluent German, good English
