Your Tasks

The digitalisation of a bank is based not only on modern technology but on a well-thought-out and sustainable enterprise architecture. This is exactly where your role begins. As Enterprise Architect Applications, you are responsible for the further development of our business and application architecture and ensure that strategic goals, business requirements and technological solutions are optimally aligned. This important key position reports directly to the Head of IT and thus makes a significant contribution to the strategic development of the bank.

You actively shape the target architecture of the bank, develop long-term roadmaps and ensure that projects and initiatives are based on a consistent and future-proof architecture.

Responsibility for the business and application architecture of Zuger Kantonalbank
Development and maintenance of target architectures, architecture principles, standards, blueprints and roadmaps for business, application, data and integration architecture
Active further development and management of the application portfolio as well as ensuring a sustainable and economical system landscape
Support in the selection of providers, platforms and solutions as well as responsibility for all IT architecture aspects in project and implementation undertakings
Assuming the role of solution architect in key projects
Evaluation of new technologies, platforms and architectural approaches regarding their contribution to the strategic development of the bank

Our Requirements

Several years of experience as an enterprise, business, application or solution architect in complex IT landscapes
Completed studies or advanced training in computer science, business informatics or a related field
Sound knowledge of enterprise architecture and architecture methods as well as experience with architecture frameworks and governance processes
Ability to prepare complex technical and business contexts understandably and to convince different stakeholders
Structured, analytical and strategic thinking with a holistic view of processes, applications and data
Experience in the banking environment and understanding of regulatory requirements are advantageous
Knowledge of Finnova and banking-related application landscapes is a plus
Experience in integration architecture and the interaction of heterogeneous systems
High initiative, implementation strength and enjoyment in actively shaping change
