About the job
The Auf der Leiern Centre in Gelterkinden BL is supported by the private "Stiftung Leiern" and has a service agreement with the canton of BL. We offer care for around 40 children and young people in the boarding school and special school with integrated therapy services.
For a student residential group, we are looking for a social pedagogue 60-80% to start immediately or by arrangement.
We expect:
appropriate professional training (HF or FH)
ability to act in a goal-oriented pedagogical manner
experience and enjoyment in working with children and young people with behavioural difficulties
practical instructor course
high communication skills in interdisciplinary collaboration
confident, assertive personality with an optimistic attitude and humour
teamwork skills, willingness for cross-departmental collaboration
flexibility and willingness for shift work including night and weekend presence
competence in administrative matters and good PC skills
driving licence
