Role:

Behind every smooth production process are applications that run reliably. As a Business Application Manager, you ensure that business-critical applications function stably, performantly, and securely. Interfaces, data flows, and configurations are your domain. You combine technical depth with a clear understanding of business needs. In doing so, you actively shape the entire lifecycle of your systems.

Responsibilities:

• You operate and configure personalisation software as well as other production-critical applications and continuously develop them further.

• You monitor interfaces to production and peripheral systems and check the correct processing of data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.

• In case of disruptions, you conduct root cause analyses across applications and data flows and coordinate incidents with software providers.

• Furthermore, you are responsible for releases and patches from test planning to controlled production deployment.

• You translate business requirements into workflows, templates, and rules and manage user roles and access rights.

• Additionally, you identify automation potentials, take on technical sub-projects, and document systems and processes comprehensibly.

Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science or business informatics forms your basis, alternatively a comparable technical education.

• You bring at least 3 years of experience in application management or the technical operation of business applications.

• You feel at home in interface management, and integration technologies such as REST APIs are ideally familiar to you.

• You are familiar with processes around change, problem, and incident management from practice, as well as system, regression, and acceptance testing.

• Ideally, you also have knowledge in SQL, logging, or monitoring, with which you independently narrow down problems.

• Moreover, you think analytically, keep an overview even with complex dependencies, and convince with confident German as well as solid English skills in communication with manufacturers.
