About the job

As a Higher Vocational School, we are a customer-focused educational institution for the healthcare sector at the tertiary education level with around 1100 students. Based on cantonal service agreements, we contribute with attractive initial and continuing education programmes to ensuring sufficient, well-qualified and motivated professionals in interprofessional occupational fields.

Due to increasing student numbers and retirements, we are immediately or by arrangement seeking committed individuals in the Nursing HF training area

Nursing Teachers HF 80 – 100 %

Do you already have vocational pedagogical training or would you like to train as an HF teacher? Take the opportunity to bring your practical experience into the training of prospective nursing professionals and actively help shape nursing education.

Your Tasks

• You plan and design practice-oriented, competence-based teaching based on evidence-based foundations
• You support students individually in their professional and personal development
• You further develop educational content, continuously evaluate and optimise it
• You create and conduct competency assessments and participate in the qualification process
• You work on projects as well as specialist and working groups for the further development of the area
• You actively shape the training and take responsibility in a dynamic educational environment

Your Qualifications

• Qualified nursing professional HF/FH
• Vocational pedagogical training as a qualified HF teacher (at least 1,800 learning hours) or willingness to complete this
• Several years of experience in nursing practice
• Proactive, communicative and motivating personality with openness to innovative learning methods as well as digital teaching formats
