What to expect
- Leadership of the Freight Operations & Value Added Services (VAS) division including professional and disciplinary management of team leaders
- Responsibility for compliance with budget, performance and quality targets within your area
- Ensuring timely and efficient order processing for further handling
- Supporting the department head in achieving strategic and operational key figures
- Close cooperation with internal departments, group companies and external business partners
- Participation in the strategic development of the logistics organisation as well as implementation of optimisation measures
- Initiation and support of projects for continuous improvement of processes, cost structures and workflows
- Promotion of talents and teams as well as ensuring compliance with safety, quality and legal requirements in the area of responsibility
What you bring
- Higher education in logistics, business administration or engineering (HF, professional certificate, federal diploma or equivalent)
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain or an operational environment
- Experience in analysing, optimising and designing processes as well as working with key figures
- Very good user knowledge of IT, ERP and warehouse management systems
- Strong analytical skills as well as networked and entrepreneurial thinking
- High communication and leadership competence with enthusiasm for developing and promoting employees
- Independent, service-oriented and responsible working style as well as willingness to work flexible hours
- Very good German skills and impeccable reputation
