You can contribute this role

• Check, maintain, repair transmission, communication and telematic systems of the Swiss Army and ensure their technical operational readiness
• Systematically analyse faults in transmission and communication systems, locate errors and carry out necessary repairs professionally
• Check, replace, configure electronic assemblies, devices, cabling and system components and monitor their function
• Carry out periodic maintenance and technical inspections according to specifications and professionally rectify any identified defects
• Document maintenance work and technical findings and reliably report completed work and work orders in the SAP system
• Support army personnel as well as internal and external service recipients with technical questions and ensure professional handling of the systems under supervision

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training as a telematician EFZ, electronics technician EFZ, multimedia electronics technician EFZ or an equivalent technical qualification
• Professional experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electronic, communication or transmission technology systems
• Good technical understanding as well as knowledge in measurement, network and communication technology and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical contexts
• Good IT user skills and ideally experience with SAP
• Driving licence category B and ideally category C1
• Work independently, carefully and solution-oriented, take responsibility and collaborate reliably in a team
