About the job
The Fondation la Pouponnière and l’Abri in Lausanne aims to work in favour of children and particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within its nine institutions: five child life centres (CVE), two emergency residential care homes, the Mother-Child Educational Reception (AEME), the Meeting Space Service Unit (UPER).
Emergency Residential Educator at 30%, Weekends
Tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure the protection and well-being of a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years, placed by the DGEJ or SCTP
- Welcome and support the children in their daily lives
- Observe and assess the development of the children
Profile sought
- Diploma as a social educator, childhood educator, or other Bachelor or Master related to the field
- Proven and recognised experience in educational work in residential care with children
- Ability to work in a team and network in an emergency reception context
- Good personal organisation, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, excellent adaptability and priority management
- Excellent listening skills and empathy
- Availability for 2 consecutive days (Saturday + Sunday) as well as 2 Thursdays per month, the 30% is spread over 26 weekends per year
- Driving licence
- Clean criminal record
