About the Job

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Senior Mandate Manager M&A / Senior M&A Advisor at our Rothrist location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Convince entrepreneurs. Develop mandates. Lead transactions.

• Many can accompany M&A processes. Only a few earn the trust of entrepreneurs.

• We seek personalities who convince entrepreneurs, build relationships, and independently develop high-quality mandates.

Your Task

You accompany entrepreneurs through one of the most important decisions of their lives – from the first conversation through mandate development to successful closing.

In doing so, you operate on equal footing with entrepreneurs, board members, investors, family offices, and strategic buyers.

Your tasks include in particular:

• Building and maintaining entrepreneur relationships
• Developing and acquiring new mandates
• Leading company sales and succession processes
• Valuing and positioning companies
• Approaching and negotiating with prospective buyers
• Supporting due diligence, signing, and closing

Depending on experience and interest, you will also take on responsibility for building teams, locations, or strategic initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For

We are less interested in titles than in personality.

You may currently work:

• at an M&A boutique
• in corporate development of a company
• at a private equity investor
• in a corporate finance or lead advisory team
• or in a comparable role with direct involvement in company transactions

What matters is that you can accompany entrepreneurs on equal terms, think entrepreneurially, and are able to develop your own mandates.

You bring:

• Experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, corporate development, or succession environment
• Enjoyment in building relationships and acquiring new mandates
• High initiative and entrepreneurial thinking
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style
• Very good German skills and understanding of Swiss German
