What you do

• Design and implement military pilot training systems IT architecture (flight simulators, computer based training software, etc.), including the data networking solution, data storage and backup, selection of hardware components and coordination of suppliers
• IT infrastructure implementation and support at customer site (worldwide), including maintenance personnel training and annual support visits
• Processing of customer technical queries and malfunctions for all fielded systems
• Creation of technical documents (design, configuration) following the Pilatus engineering processes based on ISO 15288 and ISO 12207
• Supporting internal teams with IT infrastructure

What you bring

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with at least five years of working experience in IT systems architecture design and maintenance
• Knowledge of Hardware, Operating Systems (Windows & Linux), Active Directory, Backup Systems, Databases and Network Infrastructure
• Experience in working cross-team and in synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing
• Fluent English spoken and written (Level C1), German knowledge is an advantage
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
• Skilled in working effectively in a multi-cultural team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
