Drive Operational Excellence Across Global Gem Services

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the Managing Director in steering operations across the four Gübelin Gem Laboratories and preparing to assume broader operational responsibility for all Gem Services units.

• Oversee operational performance across laboratories and drive KPI-based management
  
• Lead operational optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
  
• Ensure alignment of processes and operations across all Gem Services entities
  
• Lead cross-company strategic and digitalisation initiatives
  
• Support budgeting, financial planning and cost control
  
• Conduct profitability analyses and support strategic investment decisions
  
• Support organisational development, including identifying synergies and enabling team growth
  

• Degree in Economics or Business Administration or a scientific/engineering background
  
• Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  
• German and/or French is an advantage
  
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a B2B environment
  
• Proven experience in operational leadership roles
  
• Experience in a technology-driven industry
  
• Strong operational mindset with a focus on execution and results
  
• High affinity for digitalisation and technology
  
• Structured, analytical, and performance-oriented working style
