This position is based in Aesch and Liesberg, Basel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continuous learning and development
  • Be an active part of the Site Leadership team as well as Global HR Leadership team
  • Provide coaching and play a key role in the development of Senior Leaders and talent
  • Develop and implement site HR strategies aligned with global HR / Business objectives, ensuring a strong focus on talent acquisition, development and retention of talent
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic guidance on HR matters, contributing to the overall business strategy
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, employee well-being, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Oversee the full HR Operations, including compensation and benefits, performance management, HR KPIs, budget and forecast management, employee relations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations

Your profile: 

  • An established HR leader with +10 years Pharmaceutical Industry experience
  • A proven track record in a Site environment with a deep understanding of the sector’s challenges and dynamics
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and a solid understanding of Swiss Labour Law
  • Strong knowledge of global HR best practices, including talent management, organizational development, and change management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English and German is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of people from different functions, of different nationalities and at different levels within the company
  • Willingly accepts challenging assignments and opportunities that stretch and build capabilities
