HR Manager (40-60%, as of September 2024)

As a HR Manager you will 

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy 
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local regulations 
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process 
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital 
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization. Continuously assess and improve HR processes to enhance organizational effectiveness. 
  • Manage salaries & benefits of employees, ensuring competitiveness and fairness. Develop and administer compensation packages that align with organizational goals and market trends. 
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics 
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities

From aligning HR strategies with business objectives in the morning to conducting performance reviews and addressing employee relations issues in the afternoon, every task undertaken contributes to the organization's growth and development. Through collaboration, innovation, and a dedication to excellence, you as an HR manager play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and direction of the company, ensuring its competitiveness and thriving in today's ever-evolving business landscape. 

 

Your qualifications 

Skills 

  • High emotional intelligence
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Competence to build and effectively manage relationships at all levels of the company 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English is a must, German and other European languages is a plus 
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork 

Education and Experience 

  • Degree in Human Resources / Business or related field 
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for at least 3 years 
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases 
  • Knowledge of Swiss labor law and regulations 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
