An international organisation is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its European legal team in Zug for a 12-month maternity cover.This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to a variety of legal and regulatory matters across a complex multinational business.
Legal Counsel (1 year contract)
The role
You will provide practical legal advice across areas including:
- European regulatory and compliance matters
- Commercial contracts and negotiations
- Employment law
- Responsible sourcing and supply-chain topics
- Corporate affairs and reputational matters
- Sustainability, HSEC and human rights
You will work closely with legal colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders across Europe.
Your profile
- Swiss Qualified lawyer / bar admission
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, gained in-house and/or in private practice
- Broad legal experience across commercial, regulatory, employment or sustainability-related matters
- Fluent English plus German or French
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, energy or similarly regulated environment is an advantage
- Pragmatic, collaborative and comfortable managing a varied workload
