GBL Gubler AG

Before joining GBL, I had management experience in the military and in a sports club. In addition, the specialist topics at GBL (digitalization, digital administration) were quite new to me. The existing team, especially the experts from consulting and IT, provided me with very dedicated internal training. I also received a substantial contribution towards my further training. The departmental and executive management give everyone a great deal of freedom, regardless of their hierarchical position. The only requirement is that you perform well. Unfortunately, I left the company because I moved abroad.

The company is growing, which is great, as it means new opportunities arise every week. However, this also makes things a little unsettled. I had to keep rescheduling my work, which isn't a problem in itself and makes everything very interesting—you learn a lot. But as project managers, my team and I lost efficiency and had to put a lot of effort into coordination. Perhaps we just need slightly larger teams, both in the I&D department and in IT.
