It is your achievement when the IT applications in our data centre and at clients function flawlessly and their employees can work without disruptions. Of course, you have support from an experienced team and show yourself as a strong team player.

Your tasks & your responsibilities

• In this versatile position, you design, configure and optimise modern client environments, primarily in the area of network and security, but you are also open to comprehensive infrastructure projects.
• You are responsible for demanding IT projects, from concept to acceptance.
• In addition, you take responsibility for the maintenance and support of client networks.
• With your curiosity and passion for network and security topics, you think outside the box and continuously develop your knowledge.
• You like to proactively share your strengths and know-how and are pleased to be able to build on the offerings of your team colleagues.
• You receive plenty of freedom in planning and implementing your tasks.
• After a short induction period, you already act very independently, responsibly and in a team-oriented manner.

What you bring with you

• You have completed IT training with professional experience and/or you are studying IT part-time or are about to graduate.
• You possess very good knowledge in the area of network (switching, routing, WLAN) with certification at CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent.
• You have very good knowledge of HPE Aruba products and preferably current certifications.
• You have good knowledge in the area of firewalls and experience especially with Fortigate, preferably with current certifications.
• You have an affinity and interest in technical IT security and knowledge in the areas of forward/reverse proxy (e.g. Netscaler), NAC/Dot1X/Radius (especially Clearpass), PKI and certificates.
• You have an affinity for Windows Server/Client as well as virtualisation technologies and understand the systematic interrelationships.
• You enjoy customer contact, are communicative and come across as authentic.
• You like to work independently, plan systematically and take responsibility.
• You keep an overview even in hectic situations, negotiate solution-oriented and are willing to make a sprint or go the extra mile when necessary.
