For the TORMAX division, we are seeking an experienced and analytically minded individual in the Training & Support area as

Customer Support Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks

  • 2nd level support for service technicians (mostly remote, occasionally on site)
  • Function/fault analyses and solution finding, also in collaboration with other departments
  • Handling technical enquiries from our customers worldwide
  • Developing and documenting applications
  • Checking technical documentation or training materials for accuracy and applicability in the field
  • Contributing to the development of training equipment
  • Accompanying/supporting hands-on training for fitters and service technicians
  • Co-designing the further development of the department

Your qualifications

  • Technical apprenticeship (e.g. electronics technician, automation technician, mechatronics technician)
  • Several years of professional experience in the assembly and commissioning of door automation systems or a similar industry such as lift systems
  • Experience in technical support and/or training is an advantage
  • Very quick comprehension and high self-motivation
  • Clear, precise communication adapted to the interlocutor and able to explain technical system contexts well
  • Visual flair (e.g. for photo, video, 2D/3D representation) is an advantage
  • Good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
