The Directorate of Finance, Personnel and IT provides a variety of internal city services and supplies central resources. The IT Department of the City of Bern is the service integrator and provider for customer-oriented and economical ICT solutions for the city administration and public schools.
What you will achieve
- Co-responsible for the operation, maintenance and further development of the Support Center 2nd Level
- Proactively optimising customer support and work processes
- Regular field service deployments according to schedule
- Supporting 1st Level Support with complex faults and support requests
- Ensuring interfaces and communication with other departments, participating in projects and committees
What you bring
- Completed training as an ICT specialist with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as an ICT Supporter 2nd Level & Field Support
- High commitment and flexibility as well as a communicative, resilient, reliable person
- Team player mentality with an independent, solution- and customer-oriented working style
- Driving licence category B
