About the job
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer for a client. In this role, you take on a central position between business and technology: you understand business processes and needs at their core, structure complex requirements, and create the foundation for solutions that are both professionally sensible and technically feasible. You are not merely a requirements manager but a sparring partner for our clients and our interdisciplinary teams. The following tasks await you: analysing and structuring complex professional issues, business processes, and requirements with a focus on the actual problem behind the request; planning and moderating interviews, workshops, and reviews; gathering, structuring, prioritising, and validating requirements as well as developing suitable professional concepts, models, and specifications; developing precise, verifiable specifications and contracts as a reliable "Single Source of Truth" for development and testing; analysing interfaces, data flows, roles, and system boundaries; coordinating between business units, UX, architecture, development, testing, and operations; accompanying requirements from the initial idea through to professional tests and approvals; and actively advancing our methods and competencies in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering
- Several years of solid experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable role in complex IT projects
- Experience with modern specification and modelling approaches (e.g. Spec-Driven Development)
- You are skilled at clearly representing business processes, workflows, and system interrelations using suitable modelling notations such as BPMN and UML
- Openness to change and the use of AI in conception
- Very good German and French language skills
- Ideally, you hold a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field, or have corresponding extensive practical experience.
- IREB CPRE, IIBA CBAP/CCBA, or comparable certifications
- Further training in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation
- Experience with specification and modelling tools (e.g. Innovator, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Adonis)
- Experience with HERMES, Scrum, or SAFe
- Experience in the public or federal-related sector
