What you can contribute

• Management of the supervision of peasant land law (BGBB) and agricultural tenancy law (LPG), as well as the valuation of agricultural businesses and the legally permissible rent
• Developing concepts and strategies for risk-based analysis for supervisory control of enforcement and legal issues
• Conceptual and strategic further development of the BGBB, LPG and the agricultural income value as well as rent assessment
• Handling demanding business and agricultural economic valuation issues (company value, tax value, rent)
• Project management and specialist responsibility for the revision of the federal guidelines for estimating the agricultural income value
• Developing decision-making bases and solution proposals for complex legal, economic and agricultural policy issues in the area of BGBB, LPG and the valuation of agricultural enterprises
• Analysing case law and enforcement practice and deriving the need for action for legislation and enforcement
• Designing and further developing knowledge management including a database on case law and enforcement practice
• Leading and accompanying evaluations, studies and monitoring in the area of land and tenancy law
• Advising cantonal enforcement offices, federal authorities and other stakeholders on fundamental specialist issues
• Providing specialist support in complex administrative and court proceedings as well as in statements and legal briefs
• Contributing to the further development of the SAK surcharges according to VBB as well as other tasks of the specialist area
• Recognition and review of organisations for exceeding the burden limit

What makes you unique

• University degree (Master) in agronomy, agricultural economics and/or law, with an interest in legal and agricultural policy issues
• Sound expertise and practical experience in peasant land law (BGBB), agricultural tenancy law (LPG) and in the valuation of agricultural enterprises
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as interconnected thinking at the interface of law, economics and agricultural policy
• Experience in project management
• Confidence in writing reports, statements and legal texts in German or French
