With our approximately 70 articulated and standard buses, we currently transport around 14 million passengers annually in the city and region of Schaffhausen. The vbsh offer modern workplaces both at the wheel of our buses as well as in the workshop and administration in the renovated bus depot

Technical Employee Building and Charging Infrastructure 100 %

Your tasks
Ensuring the proper operation, maintenance and upkeep of buildings, technical systems and outdoor facilities. Co-responsibility for technical maintenance, carrying out simple repairs, as well as fault reporting and cooperation with suppliers in the area of the charging infrastructure of our electric bus fleet. Support with simple electrical work within the scope of existing qualifications.

Building and system maintenance (approx. 60 %)

• Carrying out inspection, maintenance and repair work
• Support with electrical maintenance work
• Coordination and supervision of external craftsmen and service providers
• Care and maintenance of outdoor facilities
• Carrying out winter service and cleaning work
• Representation of the Head of Infrastructure

Charging infrastructure bus fleet (approx. 40 %)

• Visual inspection, basic maintenance and reporting of faults at charging stations of the e-bus fleet
• Coordination and supervision of service calls by charging infrastructure suppliers (including ABB, Siemens, Jema Energy)
• Documentation of faults, maintenance work and charging processes

Your profile

• Completed craft or technical vocational training with a certificate of competence (e.g. caretaker, electrician, electrical installer, mechanic or comparable)
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Knowledge in the areas of building services engineering, building automation, Loxone is desirable
• Basic knowledge in the use of computer programmes (MS Office)
• Manual dexterity
• Good physical condition, especially ability to lift/carry loads and work on ladders/lifts
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions, as well as on-call duty
• Driving licence category B
• English or Spanish language skills are an advantage
