What you can contribute

• Operate, administer and further develop PostgreSQL and Oracle databases; plan, install, configure and maintain database systems
• Support development and project teams with database design and SQL optimisation; collaborate on architecture and infrastructure projects
• Perform performance analysis and optimisation of databases and SQL queries
• Ensure availability, data security as well as backup and recovery processes
• Carry out migrations, upgrades and release changes
• Automate recurring operational tasks using scripts and tools

What makes you unique

• Qualification as an ICT specialist EFZ required; further training at the level of professional certificate (FA) or higher technical college (HF) is a great advantage
• Several years of practical experience in the database-specific environment as well as in the operation of large service platforms
• Sound knowledge in automation with Ansible and orchestration as well as in performance analysis and optimisation
• Experienced handling of security topics such as system hardening and CIS compliance
• Routine in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• Active knowledge of two official languages
