About the job
We are looking for you!
Monnier + Zahner AG is an internationally active mechanical engineering company in the Seeland region. With a passion for technology, we develop, build and distribute highly precise machine tools worldwide for the medical, dental, automotive and watchmaking industries.
Our machines are created in close collaboration with our customers. We clarify requirements, jointly seek solutions and implement them technically. Various departments work closely together in this process. It is precisely this combination of software, electrical engineering, design and mechanics that makes our projects varied.
You develop software for our machines and ensure that a technical solution becomes a functioning machine. If you enjoy working independently, understand technical contexts and want to test your solutions directly on the machine afterwards, we look forward to meeting you.
Your tasks
- You develop .NET applications for our HMI
- You programme PLC, CNC and robot systems
- You develop interfaces between machines, peripheral devices and higher-level systems
- You implement partial and overall projects from planning through development to commissioning
- You test your solutions with us in production and commission them
- You work closely with design and electrical development
- You support our technical support with demanding queries
- You create and maintain the associated technical documentation
Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, automation or a comparable technical field (FH, BSc, MSc, engineer FH/HTL or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of C#/.NET
- Technical basic training
- Experience with HMI, PLC, CNC or robot systems
- Experience in project work and enjoyment in implementing tasks independently and on time
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins is an advantage
- Technical understanding and a quick grasp
- Interest in new technologies and willingness to familiarise yourself with new topics
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
What to expect at MZ
- Varied and challenging projects
- Lots of personal responsibility and short decision-making paths
- Development and commissioning of software directly on our machines
- Participation in customer-specific machine projects
- Close collaboration with software development, design and electrical development
- International projects and occasional assignments at our customers
- A collegial and uncomplicated working environment

Do you want to develop software that in the end is not just code, but controls a highly precise machine used by customers all over the world?
Then we look forward to your application.
