You can contribute this role
- Participate in action planning and working groups at the operational level
- Create deployment plans and operational concepts
- Identify gaps in the merged situation picture of the military strategic, operational and tactical levels and coordinate information gathering to close them
- Coordinate and implement support services for partners
- Independently maintain contacts within the intelligence and security network
- Prepare basic documents, concepts and training activities in the area of protection of persons, systems and the army's critical infrastructure
What makes you unique
- Officer of the Swiss Army (at least Captain) or professional specialist officer. Specialist training as an intelligence officer is an advantage
- University/University of Applied Sciences degree (preferably in political science, criminology, law or psychology) and/or several years of functionally relevant professional experience in intelligence/state security or police sector
- Experience and skills at the operational level (staff work)
- Strong editorial and communication skills, excellent conceptual and methodological competence
- Good oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as good English skills

The Service for Preventive Protection of the Army (DPSA) forms the first line of defence of the army. It monitors and assesses the military security situation and takes precautionary measures to protect the army from espionage, sabotage and other unlawful acts.

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civilian – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
