The ESB Foundation Baselland is a regionally significant social enterprise offering people with support needs attractive training and employment opportunities as well as various forms of housing and services. ESB provides its services at 23 locations, 22 of which are in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, and one in the canton of Basel-Stadt. All activities aim to promote the self-determined life of people with support needs.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Care Specialist 30%
In a team of five, you will accompany people in their individual life situations and needs with great empathy and professional competence. Our team coaches and supports a shared flat of twelve adults with support needs in the WG Frenkendorf, addressing their individual life situations and needs. We actively engage with the implementation of the UN CRPD and focus on participation and co-determination in all processes.
Your impact with us
- Holistic support, assistance, and accompaniment of residents in all aspects of daily life and leisure
- Organisation and support in meeting daily life needs (household management, shopping, pocket money)
- Co-responsibility for planning and conducting leisure activities, resident holidays, and promoting participation in social life
- Taking on key worker and family liaison roles, maintaining client documentation and development planning
- Internal and cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to work weekend shifts and take on the telephone on-call service

What you bring
- Completed training as a Care Specialist EFZ
- Experience in supporting adults with support needs
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Reflective person with heart, empathy, and professional handling of closeness and distance
- Ability to meet and inspire people at eye level
- Willingness to work irregular hours and weekend shifts
