• Creation of holistic concepts for the further development, modernisation, and migration of datacentre infrastructures at our customers, including technical and economic evaluation of existing datacentre architectures
• Central contact person for conceptual questions regarding the focus areas of servers, storage, backup, virtualisation, and containerisation based on our strategic manufacturers
• Responsible and solution-oriented development of blueprints and best practices as well as architecture lead for complex solutions from multiple technology areas (for example hybrid cloud approaches)
• Definition of recommendations for action and development of implementation plans for the implementation and operational phase within our customer projects
• Support of sales in customer consulting on the latest trends and technologies, as well as in the preparation of offers
• Conducting customer workshops and presentations
• Evaluating new technical solutions and preparing sales documentation
• Active participation as an expert in our communities and in the product portfolio board

• Higher vocational training in computer science or equivalent education
• Expertise in designing datacentre architectures with experience in pre-sales and/or consulting
• Knowledge of the service offerings of relevant hardware, software, and cloud providers (e.g. HPE, Lenovo, DELL, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, AWS, Google GCP)
• Confident appearance with decision-makers, specialist departments, and IT specialists in workshops and presentations
• Enjoy presenting and moderating workshops
• Strong interest in new technologies and continuous learning
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
