In this role, you will strengthen the Life business area at Zurich Switzerland in Retention & Reinvestments and make an important contribution to our shared success.

As a Retention Specialist Individual Life, you and your team are responsible for contacting customers, advising them, and offering solutions to retain them as Zurich customers. In this role, you act as a retention expert in the private pension sector, collaborate with various interfaces such as sales, customer service, product management, pricing, and underwriting, and proactively contribute to projects for customer excellence.

What to expect

• You actively approach customers in the cancellation process, understand their reasons, and open up new perspectives with Zurich
• You build trust through personal telephone advice and present solutions that fit the individual life situation of our customers
• You work closely with sales and help to strengthen long-term and stable customer relationships
• You act as the central contact person for internal interfaces such as sales, customer service, product management, pricing, and underwriting
• You use your experience in customer contact to further develop retention processes and advance projects for customer excellence

What distinguishes you

• Completion of a higher technical school (HF) or university of applied sciences (FH), ideally in business administration, insurance, finance, or a related field
• VBV intermediary certificate (all branches or life) or a clear willingness to obtain it
• At least three years of professional experience with intensive customer contact, preferably in private pensions or the financial services environment
• Excellent German skills, additional national language an advantage
• Strong advisory and communication skills as well as a motivated, proactive team player personality
