About the job

The Schaffhausen Transport Company (vbsh) is the innovative, customer- and market-oriented transport company of the city and region of Schaffhausen and employer of around 270 employees. With our approximately 70 articulated and standard buses, we currently transport around 14 million passengers annually in the city and region of Schaffhausen. The vbsh offer modern workplaces both at the wheel of our buses as well as in the workshop and administration in the renovated bus depot.

For our new minibus lines, we are looking for motivated minibus drivers from December 2026 who will safely and courteously bring our passengers to their destination with modern, battery-electric minibuses.


Start date: 1 December 2026

Minibus Driver: 20-50% Part-Time on an Hourly Wage

Your Tasks

• Safe, reliable and punctual transportation of our passengers
• Friendly and courteous advice and care for our passengers
• Providing information to passengers during diversions and operational disruptions
• Shift work throughout 365 days

Your Profile

• Driving licence category D (coach), or willingness to complete the training with our support
• Confident, well-groomed appearance
• Reliable working method (punctuality)
• Good German skills (at least level B2) and listening comprehension of Swiss German
• Flexibility regarding irregular working hours and special assignments
• Technical understanding and careful handling of the vehicles
• Professional handling of the hustle and bustle of road traffic
• Residence in the Schaffhausen region
• Local and route knowledge of the Schaffhausen region is an advantage
