How you can contribute

• Collaborate on projects of the Military Music Competence Centre
• Support projects, initiatives and affairs of the Military Music Competence Centre
• Conduct surveys; process survey results and create presentations
• Assist at national and international events (e.g. prepare content, create documentation)
• Can be assigned further tasks as directed by the commander

What makes you unique

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in humanities or social sciences (political science, history, journalism, economics or similar fields)
• Good analytical skills and an independent working style
• Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with various military and civilian bodies, as well as an open and confident demeanour
• Fluency in written expression and negotiation-level knowledge of a second official language
• Knowledge of or initial contact with the Swiss Army is an advantage

The Training Command (Kdo Ausb) is responsible for training within the Swiss Army – from recruitment through basic training to officer training for the militia and professional military. The Kdo Ausb includes advanced officer training, army personnel, five training units, the training centre, as well as the Women in the Army and Diversity office. One third of the approximately 2,350 employees work in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute to success together with the professional military.

The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 staff in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
