What you achieve

• As a Data Engineer, you develop and operate data products that provide direct added value to our specialist departments.
• You design and implement scalable data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flows.
• You are responsible for the quality and transparency of the data and support compliance with our Data Governance.
• In close collaboration with specialist departments, Product Owners and DevOps teams, you actively help shape our Data Mesh landscape and data platform.

What you bring

• You bring experience in Data Engineering and with modern data architectures.
• You complement your solid SQL skills with practical experience in Python.
• You have already worked with dbt (data build tool), Apache Airflow or comparable technologies.
• Container and cloud platforms such as OpenShift as well as automated CI/CD processes are familiar to you from practice.
• You understand the principles of Data Mesh, Data Products and Data Governance and ideally bring knowledge of the insurance software Syrius.
