For the Intensive Residential Group Schüpfenflue we are looking to strengthen our team from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement a
Care Specialist / Social Pedagogy Specialist (60-80%)
with experience and expertise in supporting people with cognitive impairments and ideally in dealing with challenging behaviours. The intensive residential group is home to people who, due to their disabilities, rely on individually tailored support and guidance in their daily lives. Everyday life is adapted to the individual needs of the residents with the aim of achieving the highest possible quality of life. This varied, exciting and demanding care role requires a high degree of social competence and teamwork.Your area of responsibility
- Support, care, assistance and nursing of the residents in their living environment and support in participation in social life, taking into account their daily condition
- Documentation of care processes
- Collaboration in agogical process design and planning based on the quality of life concept
- Key worker duties including contact and relationship work with relatives and legal representatives
What distinguishes you
- You appreciate working in individual settings or small groups. Coordination and feedback within the team are important and binding foundations of your work.
- Flexible, situation-dependent reactions do not easily unsettle you. Reviewing situations afterwards is a professional matter of course for you.
- Your attitude towards people with cognitive and psychological impairments is characterised by appreciation and openness. Your interest in understanding the functions of behaviours shapes your work.
- Ideally, you have a qualification as a Health Specialist, Care Specialist or in Social Pedagogy.
