Are you familiar with sea freight and able to keep track even with larger shipments? We are looking for someone for a forwarding company who independently handles FCL shipments in import and export and remains calm even if a shipment does not fit into the container. Sometimes everything goes according to plan, sometimes it requires a bit more organisational talent – that is exactly what makes the job varied.

Tasks
- handling and monitoring FCL sea freight shipments in import and export
- organising pre- and on-carriage as well as the corresponding transports
- booking containers and freight space with shipping companies
- preparing and checking sea freight and customs documents
- coordinating shipments with customers, shipping companies, agents and other partners
- processing project sea freight and coordinating the individual transports
- monitoring transit times, deadlines and shipment status and reacting if something goes off track
Requirements
- completed training as a freight forwarding agent or comparable qualification
- professional experience in sea freight import/export with good FCL knowledge
- experience with project sea freight is an advantage
- independent and reliable working style
- good communication with customers and international partners

MS Office - good knowledge
Languages
German: spoken and written very good
English: spoken and written good
