In this newly created APN role, you will bring your clinical expertise to the care of neurological patients, especially post-stroke, and have the opportunity to help shape the APN function in the Stroke Centre from the outset. You will complement the established interprofessional team of our certified Stroke Centre and focus on clinical care, education, and the further development of counselling and support for patients.

YOUR TASKS
- You bring your clinical expertise to the care of neurological patients, especially stroke patients.
- You advise and support patients and relatives through targeted education and, together with the team, support an individual and sustainable self-management in dealing with the consequences of stroke.
- You contribute to the further development of counselling and support for patients.
- You work closely with the interprofessional team and medical service according to your qualifications and experience.
- You take over the representation of the APN Delirium including delirium rounds.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed MSc in Nursing, ongoing studies, or willingness to complete this promptly
- Professional experience in an acute hospital, ideally with experience in neurology or stroke care
- Neurological or stroke-specific further training or advanced qualifications in neurology/stroke are advantageous; a CAS Stroke Care is desirable
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration as well as advising and supporting patients and relatives
- Independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style
