For reception and resident registration, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented individual from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as
Reception and Resident Registration Officer (80%)
Your tasks
- You are one of the first points of contact at reception and on the telephone for the municipal administration and advise citizens and guests competently and courteously.
- You independently handle the diverse matters of resident registration, in particular arrivals and departures, changes, address enquiries as well as certificates and authentications.
- You prepare statistical evaluations and reports.
- You maintain the electoral register and participate in elections and votes.
- You are responsible as a practical trainer for the professional training of commercial apprentices during their placement at reception and resident registration.
- You manage the lost property office and take on various other counter services as well as general administrative tasks.
- You organise official receptions at the town hall and take on various organisational tasks.
Your profile
- You have completed commercial basic training or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in reception and/or resident registration in a Swiss municipality.
- You communicate confidently in German or French and have very good knowledge of the other language. Additional language skills are welcome.
- You enjoy working with people and impress with a friendly, confident and service-oriented manner – even in busy situations.
- You are communicative, a team player and work reliably, precisely and independently.
- You are proficient in using MS Office applications.
- Further training as a vocational trainer is an advantage; or you are willing to complete this.
