Job description:

• Overall responsibility for purchasing and production planning (AVOR/PPS)
• Ensuring an economical, efficient and timely purchasing and production planning process
• Building, maintaining and further developing a powerful supplier portfolio
• Planning, prioritising and tracking manufacturing orders in close coordination with team leaders
• Ensuring quality standards, delivery dates and cost targets
• Responsible for requirements analyses, material procurement and supplier management
• Active operational involvement in day-to-day business (approx. 60-70%)
• Leading a team of 3 employees and promoting and developing them
• Close cooperation with production, quality, logistics and R&D

What you bring:

• Technical or commercial training with industrial experience
• Further training in purchasing, procurement and production planning
• At least 10-15 years of professional experience in purchasing and/or AVOR/PPS in a comparable industry (e.g. mechanical engineering, vehicle or plant construction) with complex, technical products
• Experience in price, contract and condition negotiations
• Technical understanding and interest in products and materials
• Very good IT user skills (MS Office, SAP)
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a strong quality and cost awareness
• Hands-on mentality as well as willingness to take responsibility and work operationally
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
