for shifts during the week as well as on weekends and public holidays. We rely on flexible team members who enjoy working in a 7-day operation.

In this role, you will contribute with commitment to the success of blue Cinema in Muri near Bern. You support the management, ensure smooth operations and actively participate in day-to-day business. You take responsibility for the bar/catering, projection, events, games including bowling and team leadership. Together we inspire our guests with reliable service and high quality.

Your area of responsibility

• Supporting management at events, operational processes and scheduling
• Participating in recruitment, onboarding and further development of employees
• Professional leadership of the team and ensuring the required expertise
• Training employees on product offerings, food intolerances as well as quality and safety standards
• Compliance with and assurance of hygiene regulations according to HACCP and the guidelines for serving alcoholic beverages according to Swiss food regulations
• Friendly and competent care and advice for guests
• Responsibility for assortment and inventory management, cash handling and correct bookings as well as administrative tasks and maintenance of equipment in the gastronomy area
• Active participation in day-to-day business
• Central contact person for events including operational planning, coordination with internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring feasibility, quality and compliance with event and brand standards
• Professional leadership and support of employees in the event context including coordination during setup, execution and dismantling
• Maintenance of cinema, bowling and building technology (air conditioning, heating, ventilation)
• Responsibility for projection, image, sound and lighting quality
• Ensuring smooth operation of technical systems (bowling, laser tag) including training of employees, compliance with safety and quality standards as well as coordination of maintenance, repairs and events

Your profile

• Completed training or experience in gastronomy, hospitality, service or cinema; technical understanding and interest present
• You already have initial experience in staff leadership as well as in bar, service and gastronomy areas
• We serve our guests seven days a week, so we expect your willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Confident communication, very good German skills; additional languages are an advantage
• Positive charisma, polished manners and high social competence
• Authentic personality with a role model function
• We can rely on your independent, service-oriented and quality-conscious working style
• You have a hands-on mentality and are not afraid of new challenges
• In hectic situations, you react calmly, thoughtfully and act proactively
