Tactical Buyer – Construction, Plant & Energy

Job description:

• Independent preparation, structuring, and execution of tenders
• Tactical and operational support of procurement activities
• Taking over own procurement packages until completion
• Preparation of contract documents and support in contract management
• Handling claims and commercial issues
• Coordination with internal stakeholders, project teams, and suppliers
• Maintenance of procurement and supplier data in SAP and ARIBA

About the customer:

• Our client is a leading and well-known company in the energy sector
• Work location: Bern, 2 days home office per week possible
• Workload: 80-100% possible
• Start: Immediately
• Duration: Contract until at least the end of February 2027 (employment via Swisslinx)
• Extension of the assignment or permanent employment possible

Our client is an established company with technically demanding projects in the areas of construction, electrical installations, and energy production. The project portfolio includes hydropower, wind, solar, nuclear energy, and battery storage.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in a technical, tactical, or project-related environment
• Experience in construction, plant engineering, infrastructure, engineering, energy, or comparable technical projects
• Experience with tenders, suppliers, and contract documents
• Good technical and commercial understanding
• Independent, structured, and pragmatic working style
• SAP and/or ARIBA experience is an advantage
• CAPEX experience is a plus but not essential
• Experience with claim management or public procurement law is advantageous
