You can contribute in this way
- Support the planning, situation tracking and follow-up of operations, missions and support services of the army as well as independently handle assigned sub-areas
- Create, consolidate and further develop command products along the staff control process as well as operate and keep up to date the deployed command and information systems
- Develop, coordinate and continuously further develop the staff service regulations for the respective Joint Operational Planning Group
- Write well-founded contributions for situation reports, briefings, orders and decision bases and coordinate with internal and external partners
- Accompany projects for the further development of command instruments, processes and systems and represent the interests of the army's command service in working and specialist groups
What makes you unique
- University or university of applied sciences degree at bachelor level or a higher technical or business administration education with several years of relevant professional experience
- Solid experience in military staff work and as a staff officer; military rank of Major or higher
- Knowledge in project management as well as experience in participating in or leading demanding projects
- Strong analytical, conceptual and organisational skills as well as the ability to prepare complex content precisely and appropriately for the target audience
- High digital affinity and very good knowledge of MS Office and military command and information systems; good knowledge of a second official language as well as English skills at level B2

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civilian – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
