About the job

The position in our small IT team offers a wide, diverse and very interesting range of challenges in the field of ICT and requires a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge.

Your tasks: 

Digitalisation & Project Management:

• Planning, execution and control of IT projects in collaboration with management as well as external IT consultants or system integrators

• Acts as an interface between the various internal departments to adapt IT solutions to business requirements and ensures smooth progress of IT projects

Web & Tools:

• Support, coordination and further development of our web-based tools (websites, congress app, newsletter tool etc.) in close cooperation with our external partners

Technology Management: (in cooperation with the "IT System Administrator"):

• Selection, implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures

• Ensuring IT security and data protection

• Support and accompaniment of the technical preparation and execution of our medical congresses on site

Operational Operations:

• Support of the IT System Administrator to ensure operational operations

• Taking on tasks in the area of support & application management

What you bring:

 Requirements:

• Completed training or studies in computer science with several years of professional experience.
• Understanding of modern IT landscapes and enthusiasm for digitalising processes
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft 365 product range
• Sound knowledge in the field of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks and security)
• Sound knowledge of the Apple product range (our main platform)  Experience or interest in content management systems (TYPO3, Contao etc.) is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English
• An independent, structured way of working, strong organisational skills and
• Enjoyment of customer and team contact
