With immediate effect or by arrangement, we are looking for a team-oriented, committed and chemically-analytically skilled person for our central laboratory in Lyss as
Employee (m/f/d) chemical-analytical laboratory, 90-100%
What you can achieve:
- Independent execution of routine analytics for FFA, POZ, SFC, NIR, refractive index, water content, induction time, drop/melting point, iodine/anisidine value, Dobi value, colour measurement, antioxidant detection, fatty acid spectrum, 3-MCPD, glycidol and MOSH/MOAH for animal and vegetable fats and oils, various special products and collagen
- Documentation and deviation management
- Co-responsibility for maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and test equipment
- Internal and external stakeholder communication
- Depending on suitability and need: project work on new analytical methods, digitalisation and process optimisation
- Work in the sensory laboratory
What you bring:
- Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (or equivalent) and several years of laboratory experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with GC-FID and in analytics is an advantage
- Willingness to work 2 shifts (4:00-12:30 or 12:00-20:30) and one Saturday shift per month
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Good MS Office skills, LIMS/iQSoft/Improve knowledge is an advantage
- Precise, independent working style
- You are open-minded, communicative, decisive and a team player
