Type of Work

In this newly created key position, you will take strategic responsibility for digital transformation as well as the targeted use of Artificial Intelligence throughout the entire organisation. As a staff unit of the executive management, you will operate with a high degree of creative freedom and direct influence on the future direction of the company. You will report directly to the executive management and regularly present progress, initiatives, and strategic decisions during the monthly executive meetings.

We are seeking a personality with appropriate maturity, life experience, and persuasiveness, who can confidently operate both at the strategic management level and in the technical environment. You know how to prepare complex technological topics appropriately for the audience and inspire both the executive management and employees for digital innovations.

Your responsibilities include developing and implementing the company-wide digitalisation and AI strategy as well as building a sustainable roadmap for future technologies. You identify and prioritise innovative use cases in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and process automation and accompany their successful implementation.

In doing so, you work closely with the executive management, specialist departments, IT, and external partners. You recognise potentials for efficiency improvements and quality enhancements, promote the digital innovation culture within the company, and actively support employees in using new technologies. Building an internal power-user network and sustainably anchoring digital competencies are also among your core tasks.

Another focus is ensuring a responsible and regulatory-compliant use of AI solutions. You take into account data protection, compliance, and information security requirements and act as the central contact person for all relevant stakeholders at executive and specialist department levels.

In this role, you regularly speak before larger groups and present strategies, projects, and innovations to specialist departments, managers, and employees. You succeed in winning over even larger organisational units with up to 200 employees for changes and actively driving digital transformation. You understand change management not as theory but as lived practice and manage to bring people along on the path of transformation.

Requirements Profile

For this demanding role, you have several years of experience in digital transformation, process automation, or artificial intelligence. You have already successfully implemented digitalisation or AI initiatives with demonstrable business benefits and possess a solid understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, data management, and modern automation solutions. You convince with strategic thinking, strong implementation skills, and excellent communication abilities. In addition, you have a good understanding of governance, data protection, information security, and regulatory requirements. You speak German at a native level and English well, both spoken and written.
