For our location at Sihlquai 255 in Zurich, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented individual (m/f/d) as Head of Claims, to start by arrangement.

Your responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Claims department (3 direct reports; total 15 employees)
• Ensuring efficient, high-quality, and customer-oriented claims processing
• Negotiations with policyholders, claimants, lawyers, and experts
• Support with complex claims cases and escalations
• Optimisation and further development of processes, standards, workflows, and our core system
• Close collaboration with internal specialist departments, sales partners, brokers, and external service providers
• Participation in projects and active involvement in change processes

Your profile

• Commercial basic training including further education in personal insurance (certificate/expert)
• Several years of practical experience in personal insurance claims (UVG/KTG) as well as several years of leadership experience and organisational competence
• Experience in project management and digital transformation
• Open-minded, communicative personality with a winning and convincing manner
• Customer-oriented, flexible, and self-responsible personality
• Team player who actively promotes interdisciplinary collaboration
• Pragmatic working style, flair for working in an SME environment
• Very good German skills; French and Italian skills are an advantage
