Windows System Engineer

Your tasks – versatile and responsible

• You ensure the stable, secure and reliable operation of our Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft Services on the VMware vSphere platform.
• You take over the administration, monitoring, maintenance and continuous development of our server and system landscape.
• You are responsible for the operation and further development of our VMWare vSphere and PureStorage platform including SAN services.
• You accompany the introduction, technical review and acceptance of specialist applications and ensure their smooth integration into our IT landscape.
• You analyse and resolve faults and technical problems in the managed server systems and support cross-cutting issues in the areas of client, server and communication.
• You take responsibility as a sub-project manager in internal IT infrastructure projects and contribute your technical know-how purposefully.
• You actively participate in bank-wide IT projects and thus contribute to the further development of our digital working environment.

Your profile – expertise meets initiative

• You have completed training in the field of computer science (EFZ, HF or FH) or have a comparable qualification.
• You bring solid practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Services and VMware.
• You are familiar with VMWare vSphere and PureStorage and ideally have already supported and further developed corresponding solutions.
• You have practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
• You are a proactive and team-oriented personality who likes to take responsibility and not only seeks solutions but also implements them.
• A structured, independent and efficient way of working characterises you.
• You think in networks, keep an overview even with complex tasks and enjoy communicating with different contacts.
• You are willing to take on on-call duties and, if necessary, work outside normal working hours.
