Our church parish connects the seven communities of Brügg, Aegerten, Studen, Schwadernau, Worben, Jens and Merzligen.

We create spaces for encounters, nurture relationships and are committed to keeping community alive. People, their stories and togetherness are especially important to us.

For our social diaconia team, we are looking for an employee by arrangement

Social Diaconia Employee

in the area of family and community work

Your tasks

• Continue existing offers and projects, bring in new impulses and design, organise and accompany diverse events
• Bring people together and create a lively community
• Work with volunteers, employees and various groups
• Maintain relationships and strengthen networking within the community as well as with the local environment

You bring with you

• Training as a social deacon, in social work or a comparable qualification
• Enjoyment in dealing with people as well as building and maintaining relationships
• Openness, high social competence and pronounced communication skills
• Networked thinking and the ability to bring people and ideas together
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Living faith together and shaping community
• Identification with the values and mission of the Reformed State Church
