Meyriez (Merlach) is an attractive and dynamic municipality on Lake Murten. To strengthen our municipal administration, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented individual who enjoys a varied role, contact with the public, and contributing to the development of a modern municipal administration.

Your Tasks

• General administrative and secretarial duties
• Assistance in the preparation and processing of municipal council matters
• Counter, telephone, and postal services
• Administrative processing of building applications and participation in the building permit procedure
• Correspondence and contact with authorities, architects, specialist planners, and the public
• Participation in projects and support of the municipal clerk in administrative and organisational tasks
• Depending on experience and interest, taking on additional areas of responsibility within the municipal administration

Your Profile

• Completed commercial or comparable training
• Professional experience in a public administration, especially in the areas of building administration, resident control, or finance, is an advantage
• Independent, reliable, precise, and structured working style
• Enjoyment of contact with the public and strong service orientation
• Very good MS Office skills
• Discretion, teamwork, and willingness to take responsibility
