About the job

The Schloss Regensberg Foundation operates a special school home and a day special school Type A, with an integrated special school 15plus, a boarding school for pupils and learners, various coaching forms and offers in vocational integration as well as partially supported living arrangements in youth housing. We care for children, adolescents and young adults with difficulties in personal and/or social development as well as impairments in learning and performance capacity.

Cook EFZ (80%)

The workload is performed during the 39 school weeks. You have no work assignments during the school holidays and receive your holidays as well as compensation for your extra hours during this time.

Your tasks

• Preparation of seasonal, regional and balanced meals for children, staff and guests
• Ensuring and maintaining quality, hygiene and safety standards
• Participation in internal events and banquets
• Co-responsibility for ordering, goods receipt and inventory management
• Guidance, support and promotion of our apprentices and young people (clients) in the kitchen
• Active contribution to an attractive and varied catering offer

You bring

• Completed training as a Cook EFZ and several years of professional experience
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Team spirit, resilience and respectful interaction with people
• A humorous, appreciative and open personality
• Enjoyment in accompanying and supporting children and young people
• Creativity as well as motivation to contribute and implement your own ideas
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
